*He enters with a stack of tanned cowhides from who-knows-where and takes out a needle.  He plunges his hand into his pack and withdraws a rolled piece of parchment.  He unrolls it and weights the corners to counter the curl of the scroll.  The thing is ancient, practically crumbling.  Heaven only knows how it survived in his pack.  It appears to be a set of instructions and designs for ranger gear.  Leather gloves and chaps, bows of various uses, hardleather body armor and dragonhide vests (which of course you won't see any of those around anymore since dragons are extinct [as far as us dumb humans know {hint hint Wink}] So yeah... I just threw that dragonhide thing in there to be interesting, so don't everybody start pulling out dragonhide out of nowhere pleeeeease Grinning)*

La da dum....dee dum dee dum.... doo doo dee...la la la....

*Rolf's singing subsides to quiet whistling as he busies himself sewing leather together.  Eventually he leans back in his chair, surveying his handiwork.  Organized neatly on the table are two pairs of leaver gloves, three pairs of vambraces, one pair of leather chaps, 26 throwing knife handles, and 92 arrow shafts (those last two because he was bored)

You're a skilled craftsman.  *He picks up one of the knife handles* But you're still rough around the edges, of course.  But you're pretty good at this stuff, you know?

Oh!  Sir!  Yes sir, there's not much else to learn when you live in a forest training to be a ranger.  Eat, sleep, train...
